About
One of the most commonly found materials we have found from Sydney-based demolition sites is Oregon or Douglas Fir. Traditionally from North America and used as framing for walls and roofing it was widely available for most of the 20th Century.

The Oregon Furniture Series, was first designed for an office fit-out in Botany. The first piece of the series is a stool, its dimensions can vary in size and is designed to the available widths of the salvaged and dressed widths pieces to minimise the waste produced. The stool is joined together using notches and dowels and is designed for continual repair.
