Re-Generation House is the outcome of a collaboration between Alexander Symes Architects (ASA) and artist Jane Theau, whose vision was to construct a sustainable beach house on the South Coast of New South Wales. The project was an exploration of procuring and specifying second-hand materials, with the majority of the finishes, fixtures, and fittings sourced from local online marketplaces. Marble offcuts were utilised for the crazy-paving flooring in the new bathroom and were sourced from the waste material from marble suppliers based in Sydney.
